THE AWARD IS FOR THE STUDENTS WHO WILL BE APPEARING FOR THE FINAL MDS EXAM IN PROSTHODONTICS IN THE SAME YEAR


WHEN : PRELIMS ON THE 14th MARCH 2021, Final exam will be held on 11th April.

Consequently, last date of submitting forms is 10th March 2021.


ELIGIBILITY: ANY GOOD STANDING PG STUDENT OF PROSTHODONTICS STUDYING IN A DCI RECOGNISED DENTAL COLLEGE AND WHO HAS SUBMITTED THESES AND COMPLETED ALL MAJOR FORMALITIES FOR APPEARING FOR THE EXAM IN THE SAME YEAR. S/HE SHOULD HAVE ATTENDED AT LEAST 2 CONFERENCES OF IPS INCLUDING OUR ANNUAL/ PG CON.


EXAMINATION FEES: : Rs. 1000/- to be transferred to IPS account


EXAMINATION PROCEDURE: THE EXAMINATION WILL CONSIST OF TWO PARTS, PRELIMS AND FINALS.


THE PRELIMS EXAM WILL CONSIST OF 180 MCQs TO BE ANSWERED IN 180 MINUTES.


-THE SYLLABUS WILL BE AS PER THE GUIDELINES ISSUED BY THE DCI AND THE QUESTION PAPER WILL INCLUDE QUESTIONS FROM BASICS AND ALLIED SUBJECTS.


-4 MARKS IS AWARDED FOR EACH CORRECT ANSWER


-1 NEGATIVE MARK WILL BE GIVEN FOR EACH WRONG ANSWER

FINALS


FINAL EXAM WILL BE A ONE TO ONE DISCUSSION. EACH CANDIDATE HAS TO PREPARE A DETAILED PRESENTATION ON THE REQUIRED CASES IN THE PRESCRIBED FORMAT ONLY.


FOUR SECTIONS HAVE TO BE TAKEN BY EACH CANDIDATE. EACH SECTION WILL HAVE A SEPARATE EVALUATOR. EACH EVALUATOR WILL EVALUATE EACH CANDIDATE FOR A MINIMUM OF 30 MINUTES.

CASE II: AESTHETIC PROSTHODONTIC TRANSFORMATION EXCLUDING REMOVABLE PROSTHODONTICS, IMPLANT DENTISTRY AND MAXILLO FACIAL PROSTHODONTICS 5 MARKS
