Gold medallist from one of the highly acclaimed dental schools in the Country, A B Shetty Memorial institute of Dental sciences, Mangalore, India, Prof Dr Shetty Completed her Bachelors in Dental Surgery in 1994 and Masters in Prosthodontics(MDS) in 1996.The International college of dentists awarded her the ICD Merit award for her outstanding achievement during her years of study in Dentistry
She went on to pursue a one-year Implant fellowship course from Nobel Bio care in 1998
In 2012, she obtained her Fellowship and Diplomate from ICOI
She was the Editor-in-Chief of The Journal of Indian Prosthodontic Society (2012-2015), Official publication of Indian Prosthodontic Society
In 2016 she was Honoured with Fellowship in Dentistry from The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow
She was the Vice President, Indian Prosthodontic society (2016-2017)
Was Prof and Head at VS Dental College, Bangalore, an affiliate of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and as an active academician for over 22 years she has guided many post graduate students and conducted research, delivered Key note lectures at various forums, Published many papers in national and international Journals

Currently Chief Clinician and Director at Cosmetic Dental Clinic, Bangalore
She is the Lead person for Women’s Implantology Network, India (WIN INDIA). WIN is a global network of dentists who empower, engage and inspire women dentists to practice Implantology.
She is also the Study club Director of Garden City ITI Study club
